Rick Whelan

Richard Whalen joined the Lions ownership group in 2017. A former All-County, All-Shore, and All-State soccer player at Brick Township High School. Richard went on to play for Western Connecticut State university. Richard was on the original MDP teams that Mike Durazzo started and was also a member of the Jackson Lions Over 30 team and was the team's 2nd leading scorer in the summer of 2016. Richard is the southeast territory Vice President of Aflac and owns Red Moon Pizza in Howell, NJ. Rick and his wife Susan live in Boca Raton, Florida with their two daughters.
